Stage Hosts & Speakers for JIExpo Kemayoran

An empty stage lectern under warm light, with no presenters

Planning a show at JIExpo Kemayoran? Here is how to plan the stage hosts, speakers and any interpretation. Speakers Indonesia does not represent the complex and does not claim a history inside it. Exhibition days are long, the site is large, and the people plan has to survive more than a single plenary. You deal with the venue on halls and services. You deal with us on who talks.

An exhibition stage is not a conference MC job with a new backdrop. The host pulls a walking crowd, keeps a demo on the clock, and repeats a short programme across many hours. One person fading at hour six is a planning failure. Tell us the live hours, not only the open and close of the show. We will say if you need one host or a rotation. Product demos, talks and prize draws can share a host only if the script says when each one happens.

Speakers on that stage need a different brief from a keynote in a closed hall. They may have ten minutes, a noisy neighbour and no rehearsal except a quick line check. Send the product facts they must get right and the words they must not invent. If several talks overlap on different stages, each stage needs its own host. Do not ask the plenary name to sprint the site.

Kemayoran traffic is part of call time. Crew, hosts and speakers coming from South or Central Jakarta need a buffer, and so does anyone arriving from the airport side. Set the call at the stage, with a named gate or hall, because "JIExpo" alone is not a meeting point. Rehearse the first cycle of the stage script before the doors, then keep the later cycles tight. Fees are on request and scale with days and hours, not with a slogan.

Plan the people on stage

MC

For a show-floor stage, ask for an exhibition host. For an opening ceremony or a seated conference in another hall, ask for a conference MC. Write both if the day has both. Language: Bahasa Indonesia, English, or a planned switch.

Speakers

Short stage talks need a clear offer and a stop time. Match a speaker role when the content is more than the host reading a card. Tell us the audience: trade visitors, a public crowd, or a seated delegate list.

Moderator

A forum inside the exhibition still needs a moderator if there is a panel. Give them questions and a bell. The stage host can introduce the panel and then leave it.

Interpreters

Most booths do not need simultaneous interpretation. A conference hall beside the show might. Ask the venue's AV team what that room includes. We match interpreters only for the sessions that truly run in two languages. A bilingual host covers short bilingual links, not a day of technical papers.

Planning checklist

  • List stage hours per day and whether you need a rotation.
  • Separate exhibition hosting from any seated conference.
  • Give each simultaneous stage its own host.
  • Set a precise call point and a traffic buffer.
  • Send product lines and banned claims before rehearsal.
  • Request hosts and speakers together. Fees are on request.

Roles for Jakarta events

These are roles based in Jakarta, not a crew assigned to the building. Fee: On request.

Questions

Can one host cover a multi-day exhibition?

Sometimes. Tell us the hours. Long days usually need a rotation so the last session is as clear as the first.

Do you supply the stage and sound?

No. Those sit with the venue or your AV supplier. We match the people who use them.

What is the fee?

On request, after we know the days, hours, languages and how many stages are live.
